Does size have to matter?

We all know, and can see that a woman's size in entertainment is always looked at and criticized. This is nothing new of course.

I read an article from entertainment tonight that struck me to write this particular blog. This pertains to Mindy Kaling's cover of Elle magazine. If you have heard of the issue or not there has been a controversy that her cover picture was shot poorly to mainly cover up that she is a size 8 and not the small twiggy size that is so adored these days.

Has you can see in the picture above Mindy's picture is in black and white and a close up. Compared to other woman recently captured there were complaints that just because she's a little bit curvier she didn't get a full length shot. I had questioned it myself and wasn't going to comment until then I saw this post from Cosmopolitan magazine on twitter.....

They stated that Robyn Lawley is a plus-size model, I'm sorry but this is not plus size she  is about a size 8 as well as Mindy and all of this triggered me having to say something especially since I use to model and this size issue is the main reason why I stopped modeling and most likely pushed me to be a designer and make whatever sizes I want to.

Anyways, after being upset over both issues I stepped back and looked at Mindy's cover shot and I started liking it ten times better than the other cover shots. She is showing real beauty, class, sophisticated and confidence. Her hair isn't all a messed up or hands running all over her body. Her picture is one that I would allow my daughter to look at and say hey she's my role model.

So what do you think? Did Elle change up her shoot because of the entertainment field having a need sell twigs or did they do this because she honestly showed a more classy look of a real woman?

Pull off color blocking & defining your waist

I'd like to thank everyone for participating and discussing the blog posts I had about finding your right body shape. I'm also very happy with the feedback I got from ladies who found it inspiring and helpful and have tried out some of the tips I gave, it makes me feels great that I touched at least one person out there.
Well for this blog I will be teaming up with Josie from a fanpage on facebook called OMF- Open Mind Fashion. Give her a like and tell her I sent you http://Facebook.com/openmindfashion (copy and paste if needed)

OMF is a fanpage all about fashion talk. A place for us girls to see what's new, what's in and learn something from one another. Well I'm teaming up with her to give you ladies more ways to work with color blocking and defining your waist line. This was the topic in the apple shape blog, wearing clothing that separates your body by either color blocking or wearing a waist belt not only gives you a defined waist line that the apple shape does not naturally show but it will make you look more slim and in some cases taller.

Josie took the time to get some great dresses from Piperlime that I agree, would be great to color block your waist and give you that slimming look.
This dress is my top favorite simply because it defines the waist in a great way while color blocking. The two green color blocks makes the human eye go inward and then it makes the eye to look up and down. This is great because if the eye goes side to side the outfit will most likely make you appear bigger. The placement of the color is great, the blue is on the bottom to cover your tummy and hips if that's a big area for you and the green is slightly lighter and points at your natural waistline in which you want to emphasize. The white is the lightest because as in every body shape you want your bust to not be hidden and white brings the entire dress together.
Stripes are normally said to be a no no on well most of women but this dress actually can do some good mainly because of the stripes, how they are placed and the color of them. Black and white are two great colors to color block with because the black can disguise the parts of your body that need to be slim and the white will bring attention to the parts that need be. I like how the main point is the center, waist line, of this dress. As you can see as the dress gets to the center the black lines get thicker and that effect is what gives you the defined waistline in this dress because then as the lines go all the way up then down the white lines get bigger drawing the eye to your legs and to your face and away from people looking at your side to side but again up and down which could make you look slimmer and taller. So a good plus about lines they need to be thicker around the waist and smaller towards the legs and bust and darker color stripes with a lighter color will give you that defined waist line and lose that fear of stripes.

This dress color blocks with a waist line color of black to show where the natural waistline is and the black on the sides will hide the hips. The accent red on the bottom of the dress will give you a long look. Now the V neck cut of the neckline is great to accent with an embelished necklace that will bring the human eye to look up at you because it's better to have someone looking up and down your silhouette compared to sideways which will mak you look bigger. A knee length dress or skirt is perfect because its more complimentary to any body shape.

Give a big thanks to Josie at Open Mind Fashion (OMP) and be sure to check out their fanpage on everything fashion. http://Facebook.com/openmindfashion

These are some pointers for defining your waistline and looks that will make you look long and slim.

At the beach or the pool get these looks.

This summer should be full of sun, fun and well fashion of course. So of course I made up a lookbook for this summer fun. Who says you can't be fashionable when your out swimming, well or just laying out looking cute which us girls do pretty well.

Some small tips for summer beach or poolside fashion. Make sure to wear your sunblock of course everyone likes a nice tan but be smart about when too much sun is enough. Also accessories can be worn out but don't over do it, sometimes a big bulky necklace can take fun from being out, as I've noticed from experience sometimes you feel more hot as if you have a turtle neck on and that just gets too uncomfortable and may cut your beach time in half.
Go basic with the makeup as well, it's okay to skip the concealer. What I've done is just used a small bronze powder very light brush once over my face but I never skipped on the eye liner or mascara. The trick to that use the waterproof kind ; )

I'll give you a little look at what you can find in my beach ready lookbook, to see the full lookbook (there is 6 pages) click on this link, or copy and paste into your browser. https://keatonrow.com/lookbook/518f019da93e875e460000bd/cover

I'm super excited about this lookbook I put together. Get ideas from two pieces, accessories to wear, bags to carry. What's even better you can shop straight from this lookbook and it gives you the sizes, brands and prices right there in the lookbook. If you want a personalized summer look thats easy too, just contact me or sign up free for me to work one on one with you.

Rectangle shape: the straight and narrow

The second most common body shape is the rectangle body type. There is no definition in curves from shoulder to hip. Most women will have little to no bust hence why many call it the boyish shape. It's common for the rectangle group to gain weight in the midsection, arms and upper thighs but their best asset are their lower legs.

Being a straight shape you can really play with many textures, prints and colors; as long as you don't over due it. This is so because you'll be adding an appearance of curves, a waistline and volume. To define your waist line tips with a wind v-neck, u-neck or off the shoulder are great. Then you can add a wide dark colored waist belt at your natural waistline. To determine your natural waistline bend sidewise with your hands on your hips, where your torso creases is where your natural waistline will be. You don't have to always wear a waist belt though. find tops that have an empire waistline or anything that nips at the waistline.

For curve appeal even wearing the right bra can help you out. Even if you don't think you need one, get fitted for the right one. You can break up your body by wearing a print on the top and dark colored bottoms. Like I said before you can play around with texture such as ruffles or a shirt that has gathers, things like this will add volume to your body shape along with jewelry. Also the color possibilities and prints are endless. Usually if another body shape wears prints on the tops or bottoms it will make them look too big, but for you, you're of course trying to add that volume so try the brights and try the flowers and animal prints. Simply find what works for you and skin tons can play in what colors and prints look best on you as well.

Your pants and skirts are along the same lines; bubble skirts, flare leg hem, wide leg hem, mid low rise waist etc. the list goes on. When getting anything from shorts, pants to skirts try and find them with details. The one bottoms you want to stray from are the low rise pants and trouser these will elongate your torso and just might make you look smaller with less curves.

Any questions please feel free to ask I will answer the best I can. I am no expert all my information has come from what I learned from modeling, school, designing clothing myself, and styling clothes for clients I have. It's fully up to you if you agree with what I have to say or want to take all my information and use it as a base to start learning what shape you are. Even if you know more or you are a rectangle shape and you found something that works for you I encourage you to share, I take as much input and advice as the next person.

Time for the hourglass

36-24-36 is the size that many woman want to be, it's considered to be the ideal shape in our society.
If you're an hourglass shape your upper body will measure closely to your hips and your waist will be about ten inches smaller creating that hour glass look.

It can be difficult for a woman to keep her ideal shape of an hourglass. Through age and having children most women will loose it and usual go more towards an apple. But eating right and exercise can keep you there as well as if you want to get the shape it is possible but, my advice, do it for you and no one else completely love you for you. : )

When you have an hour glass shape you would want to bring more attention to you waist. The tops should nip at the waist without adding bulk to your bust. A tailored look is the key here, which some, who can afford it, get their clothing custom made or get to a tailor to take in clothing to fit their specific shape and this can go for any shape. Jackets are great for layers looks but the short jackets that stop just above the hip will define the waist even more without hiding it and making the eye go to the hips.

The best complimenting neckline for an hour glass shape would be v-neck or a scooped narrow neckline. V-necks do great when slimming down the bust then continued accented with a nice necklace. You will want to try and stay more toward solid colors or color block. This simply means two things,  if you are wearing say a blue shirt, add a red waist belt or add a different color of blue waist belt. This will break up your midsection and bring out your waist line and the body will appear more slim. You can also color block with different color shirts as layers, having a green shirt with an orange blazer. Or shall I say three things, you color block as well when you wear a color on your shirt then a different  on your pants, they should compliment each other as well.

Dresses and skirts are pretty much a wide range. Pencil skirts/dresses look good on hourglass shapes. It comes in at the waist and fits great around your curves. Still stay at the knee length with your dresses and skirts its really more flattering compared to going shorter. Wrap dresses and blouses pull the fabric in at the skinniest part of your body frame. But this does not work well with petite hour glass shapes. Ruffles and bows can be cute but try not to over do it or stay away from them in the wrong places. They can add volume and will take away from your curves.

Jeans and pants again look great on your shape when tailored. 3 of the four shapes are common with the pants. Your hips are something we want to pull the eye from. Wide leg hem pants, flares, are great and paired with heels bring the eyes up and down and will give you a leaner look. Skinny jeans can be worn with caution; they will make you look shirt and stout, mainly in the one with short legs. Then again long legs added with a pair of heels and skinny jeans will add the extra length.

Any questions please feel free to ask I will answer the best I can. I am no expert all my information has come from what I learned from modeling, school, designing clothing myself, and styling clothes for clients I have. The apple shape in women.

The next topic of sizes in women is the apple body shape. Having the apple shape means that your body appears to be top heavy, you will have a full chest and upper back with little to no waist definition. If there's more weight around the torso you'll fall into this category. Most apples have fabulous legs and an attention grabber bust.

When you're an apple you want to wear clothing that will define your waistline since your body doesn't really show it. When you pick the right clothing they can hide all of the extra weight and you appear to be much thinner.
A color scheme for apples can start with wearing back or white or wear them together. When you mix the two just right the black will downplay certain areas while the white will bring emphasis. Also try and color block, for example if you wear a yellow shirt take a belt at the empire waist and add a black belt, this breaks up your waist to appear slimmer. To accomplish your waistline lean more toward tops that will skim past your midsection but make sure that that it nips right below your bust. They should have an empire line, long tops and tunic shirts and add a belt, a dark wide waist belt, if you are very full in your midsection go for a belt that has some stretch. You don't want something too tight because this will not flatter your shape at all. A long shirt and/or a blouse that flows that stops at the hip line is perfect.
You will defiantly won't to stay away from tops with details. These will widen and highlight your non existent waistline and will bring the eye straight to your midsection. Let's get down to the cut of your neckline on your shirts. Go for a low v-neck, yes apples are bustier but don't go so low it brings the eye straight to your bust. The v-neck will flatten your body and will make your torso look slimmer. This will bring the human eye to look down and not side by side.

We all love jeans but on an apple body shape you want your jeans to balance your top heavy body figure. The cut of the hem should be wide either at the thighs or the knee. The best are flare pants and boot cut. I know skinny jeans are popular but not so much on apple shapes, they will make you look bigger. If you do wear skinny jeans the next alternative are straight cut balance with eye catching shoes of knees high boots. The knee highs will ad balance.

As said before apples have great legs and of course you should want to show them. The types of skirt cuts you'd lean towards are asymmetrical, at the knee flare and right below the knee to name a few. Try and stick with longer skirts because short skirts will highlight your midsection and make you look blocky.

    Find your pear shape.

This week we will be talking about the shapes of women. Now we know no two women are the same but there are categories of shapes the female body does fall under. Depending on who you talk to or where you get your information there could be a lot of shapes for a woman; some go by triangle, inverted triangle, rectangle, hour glass, diamond or rounded... Well now I'm not taking you to algebra so we will focus on 4 and I don't want it to be too over whelming so the 4 basic body shapes are the hour glass, pear, straight and apple. Now the sound of fruit sounds a lot more fun ; )

This post will be on the pear shape, the pear is the most common shape among women. No matter if you are tall, short, heavy weight or skinny, anyone can can be a pear shape. In a nutshell common pears are bottom heavy. How to determine the pear shape it's common for the hips and backside to be wider than the shoulders and they typically have a smaller bustline. But if you seem to have the right proportions of a pear but a bigger bust you could be put in the hour glass body shape.

Some celebs that are pear shapes are: Beyoncé, Tyra Banks, and Rihanna just to name a few.
There are certain places on every shape of body you want to put your most focus on to take away from looking oblong or wider. A woman of a pear shape should place attention to the upper half of her body. You can take embellishment around your neckline to naturally draw the human eye up toward the slimmest part of your pear shaped body. If you love big necklaces this should suit you well, you can also find embellished shirts and dresses; this helps out your shape and it can appear as a necklace as well, two birds with one stone. If you are not into a lot of bling, scarves do great as well to catch the eye.

                                                    Sabine Vintage Multi Pendant Necklace
Layers aren't something you have to wear only for the winter to keep warm. For the pear body shape layers balance the body by adding a visual and flattering interest to the top half of the body. The color matters as well, try and go for more bright colors and prints and the shirts shouldn't stop at you hips, this will draw much unwanted attention. For bottoms go for darker, solid colors. Now not always black but try and stay darker. Just as long as the pants are darker than your shirts. The big no-no are prints on your bottoms, they will make you look more bottom heavy.

Now lets talk about certain cuts of tops and bottoms, because too baggy or the wrong neckline can make or well smash your pear. You can play around with necklines on tops and dresses. Try out a deeper, more plunging neckline; this will elongate your upper body. Test out a tunic dress or top but you need to make sure it fits properly, tunics will bring out your arms and it will make your body appear taller and leaner. When I say make, sure it fits right, you don't want a tunic dress or top to be clingy, especially around the belly and/or hips. You will know they fit properly because it will cover everything underneath, you will look clean and have an elongating line.

                                                    MILLY, Milly Catalina Beaded Tunic
The pears pant, skirt and dress should have a wide hem. Again this will elongate you and the taller your appear you look more slim. Just like the more you stand up straight you appear to be more slim and taller. A-line skirts are a big plus and stay away from pleats and side pockets.
For the jean lovers flares look great on a pear. They are fitted at the hips and wider at the bottom taking the eye going down away from your hips.

A lot to take in but it's a start to get all you pears a base to go from. Being a pear isn't the end of the world, any round shape woman seem to get upset. What is important is that you love you for who you are and you're comfortable with yourself and your body. Don't let the clothes wear you, you wear the clothes and walk like the sidewalk is your runway.

Keep in touch and in the discussions on my Facebook page and I'm creating a look book so you can have a visual of full outfits for the pear shape body. Even if you know more or you are a pear shape and you found something that works for you I encourage you to share, I take as much input and advice as the next person.

Thanks for reading and the apple, hourglass and straight will be up later in the week.

    What body type are you?

We all know that not every female body is the same. We all run around a certain body type. In the next week I will suggest ways to dress your certain type, how to pick out which body type you lean towards more and some look books for each individual body type that will be from my Keaton Row lookbook site; here is an example of one.

    http://keatonrow.com/lookbook/5189d31a8b3358d54a000692

Here are the four shapes that will be discussed in the next week. We have the hour glass shape, the pear shape, straight or some call boy body shape and then we have the apple.

A thing to remember about shapes is that there may have been a time that you where an hour glass shape or a apple shape when you where younger but as the female body goes through puberty, children and in general life changes so can your general body shape. No one shape is better than the next and that's what our young girls today really need to understand. So my next posts this week women share this with your daughters, friends young girls even your girlfriends who are struggling with body issues I want to help you find what makes you comfortable with your body.

Throughout the week I will pin point each shape and have a post on does and donts for that body shape, how to determine which shape you have and coinciding look books as I stated before and please feel free to contact me to make your personal look book with me. I can be your personal stylists anytime and anywhere.

    Rue21 nail polish look

    Do you Rue?? I do!!!
That's the catchy phrase you will hear at Rue21 clothing store that sells girl and guy clothes and accessories galore!! My kind of place : ) The other day my boyfriend, son and I took a small shopping trip and I didn't find anything clothing wise that popped out but I did get some cute sun glasses and a deal on nail polish that was 2 for $5 (originally $3.99) I had never tried their nail polish before and who would think anything of it? Well many would who stick to OPI or Sally Henson. They had some cute colors so I got pulled into going with the deal, I needed some new colors anyway. I got a light blue, it makes me think of Easter and a black crackle.
Now, my nails never do well with nail polish no matter the brand they always take forever to dry even using the fast drying spray, they still get smudged. Well after tonight of applying Rue21 polish I'm hooked... Why you say? My nails were dry in no time, the color went on smooth and only needed two coats of color. Then the crackle went on easily. One coat was all it took, just one swipe then added my top coat. I want to go back and buy every color I loved. So moral of my story ; ) Rue21 nail polish I would recommend, you don't need to cake on the layers, it dries super fast and name brand sometimes isn't always better. Let me know what you think and share some of your best nail art.

    Ipad or Kindle Fire??

Okay so this is the question that can change everything.... okay maybe not really but I'm trying to out weight what is better. At first I knew I was going to get an ipad... and then when I saw the price I was not so excited for that, then people started talking about the kindle fire and then I started rethinking a little bit.

Well off the top of my head I can say that Ipads will come with a lot more free apps that you actually like and usable. I have an Iphone so I know the benefits of that. I have a lot of apps on my phone for business and it can be a pain using this small phone and with an Ipad I'm sure i could get  alot more done easier and faster. But I would have to put out another $30 a month for unlimited data... That sounds sorry for saying it but STUPID... if you already have an Iphone why can I not just add on to my already unlimited plan... I'm not too thrilled about that idea. And the fact that the cheapest one at $500 does not have 3g so you have to go with the more expensive ones.

The kindle fire, I like ready books and carrying the books could be a pain so having them digital in one space is really great. High lighted screen if I'm in a dark room and if you are like me I hate when paper backs get bent corners or hardbacks that take up too much space. And now look at the price $199 that is more my style. The Kindle Fire is beyond lighter that the Ipad and it is slightly smaller, but huge isn't always great so the size does not bother me. The kindle fire is also in color but remember the kindle is not. I prefer seeing things in color personally but I will say the book prices are sometimes outrageous. There have been some books that were more than the hardback cover of the book... I personally would rather save the dollars and go to a book store and buy the book so they should really rethink that idea and some of the apps are pricier and the free stuff.... not really worth being free.

Depending on your personal preference though if you want something large go for the Ipad, if you do not want to spend extra money for internet go with the Kindle Fire, if you are a huge Amazon fan and shop with them alot  go with the Kindle Fire you can easily download items straight form their site. If you download a lot of movies, music etc go with an Ipad they have various GB as the Kindle Fire only has 8GB.

I personally am still on the fence with both of them. If I go with my gut instinct and not put out that much money I will definitely get a Kindle Fire. But memory space is important to me so that makes me lean to an Ipad. A lot more research to be done and we will see what happens.

Love VoxBox from Influenster REVIEW REVIEW

I hope you either watched or read my opening of my February Love VoxBox from Influenster. Well there were really no skin care items that when I get those I normally take a day or two to try out. I could pretty much use all the items I got in the Love VoxBox the very next morning and which I did : ) and I am very pleased with the items. I will honestly review each product in my pinon but just know I am no professional and you please try products for yourself and by all means comment and let me know what you think if you agree or disagree.

The Ghirardelli Gourmet Milk Creamy Devotion chocolates where delicious. Now I will say this once and one time only....I am not a huge fan of chocolate... But as I said before I have eaten Ghirardelli and love love love them. The taste is very silky, smooth and melts right in your mouth no need to chew. This new milk chocolate that they have has 32% cacao milk chocolate and it's all natural. The serving size is 3 pieces and it's onlly 200 calories for that...Yeah had to squeeze that in for those who care : ) But when I eat this I notice I never chew it I just let it melt in my mouth. May sound odd but I get the entire taste of the chocolate that way and I highly recommend this to big time chocolate lovers.

The Gillette Venus & Olay razor for one I was excited to try because I have always liked Venus products and each one they came out with I'm sure I was there to buy and try it... I should probably see how many I have lol anywho I was happy to try it only worry I had was the 5 blade... Maybe it's just me but the 5 blades just made me picture cuts, bleeding and not very silky sexy legs...I tried it, no shave cream needed the Olay moisture bars do wonders. Just save in the shower with the water hitter your legs and you can see and feel Olay going to work. Back to my 5 blade fear, I did not cut myself at all. Not one little scratch the only thing I got was smooth legs after drying off you can just feel the Olay moisture with the smooth from the Venus razor. I can say I have never felt my legs so smooth like this before and 12 hours later..My legs ARE NOT irritating, STILL smooth feels like I just got done shaving. I'M SOLD!!  That's an exciting shout lol I will be getting a refill blade. Another thing. I have eczema-excessive dry skin, so for those of you who do try this and see how this works for you. I love it. Also the head of the razor the entire thing and  the moisture strips are flexible to move with your curves : )

I am a workout, fitness person, i've always done sports and I'm trying this new calorie counting and watching my caffeine intake and this is where Stash herbal tea sampler comes into play. There are 9 teas in this sampler all caffeine free and .. 2 calories : ) I had a hard workout this morning so I figured I would try a tea after my workout. I pulled out the chamomile tea. I chose this one because my mom had said that it does calm your body after drinking so I figured what better time to try this one after I have a hard workout. I got a coffee mug, cold water-1cup- I personally place the tea bag in the water and put it in the microwave under the beverage setting which is normally about 1:30 after the timer goes off I let it sit and I bob the tea bag up and down. This makes a little bit more stronger but if you do not want it strong you can take the bag out whenever you like. Then I started sipping and the taste was not a bad taste at all. I prefer to drink tea straight. I do no add sugar or sweetener I feel it takes away from the natural point of the tea. The taste was refreshing and I did start to just sink down in my couch after letting it simmer. I definitely like the chamomile and I tried the lemon and ginger last night and the lemon will help with your throat if it's scratchy and it's a eye opener. It's wakens up your body.  I will be looking into buying a full box of these teas I am really enjoying them so far.

As I said from the tea I do not like to use sweeteners in my tea but most people used the Truvia with their Stash tea. I however did not. I used it in my coffee to see if I could sub. my sugar for the Truvia. Truvia is a 0 calorie sweetener or sugar substitute. You can use Truvia just about on any food or drink that you find yourself using sugar in or items you like to sweeten, teas, coffee, fruits etc. I use done packet in my coffee and I had the feeling it would have that "sweetener" after taste and it did but it was not as strong or as nasty as other competition sweeteners have that I know I do not prefer. I can see myself getting more use to this if I decide to start using Truvia. The after taste is there but not as bad and does not last as long. It would take some time getting use to using maybe 2 spoonfuls of sugar in my coffee down to one packet of Truvia but I think I may try for a week and see what happens. I'm not 100% for it but I will give it an honest try.

I love getting my nails done so I was super excited about the Nail Dress by Kiss. These are finger nail stickers to say the least. They are nail color that you stick straight on top of your nails. Make sure all polish is off of your nails and that your hands/nails are dry. There are enough nail dress stickers to do your nails twice and you can even put these on your toes. They com in many different designs, colors and even with rhinestones and you can mix and match the designs. Now back to the how to. You find you nail size then just stick. I personally like to cut down the excess then take the nail file that it comes with then file that down to the shape of my nail. I have used these about 2 months ago I had the black zebra print with the rhinestones I placed these right on my nails. The box says that they last for 10 days... I say they last longer, depending on what you do with your hands mine were on for weeks. I got the cheetah nail dress this time and I already had acrylic nails on so I decided to see if they work just as well on acrylics and so far so good. I would advise you find your fingernail size then get the next biggest. This just covers the nail completely without leaving the sides bare after you try and smooth it out. I have these filed down to the acrylic nail and they are sticking very well. I've washed my hands, taken a shower, I work with my hands in retail and have alway gotten asked who did my nails : ) At first it's fun to see peoples faces when I said I did them.. Then I told them they were the Kiss Nail dress stickers lol I love them and I've bought them before and will most likely buy them again.

For the parents- Thrift shopping for kids

I normally show my fashion and beauty shops but this one is for the parents to really see what they can find at a thrift store for their kids. I have a 3 1/2 year old son and since his birth I have noticed how the bigger he becomes the more expensive his clothing is. If you agree with me I am never happy about paying over $20 for a pair of children's pants that he will grow out of in sometimes a month. I pay $20 for my own jeans but I'm not growing anymore so I can keep those same jeans for years.. I thrift shop more for my son than I do for myself simply because he grows so fast and I'd be throwing away money. So parents your kids do not have to have all those expensive clothes well you can find them easily at a thrift for sometimes just $1.95 : ) I got some of these clothes for my son my last visit to my local Goodwill. Each item is $1.95 and jeans are $2.95.
This very nice button up shirt I found at the goodwill in 4th from the Gap. Not one stain and it was like it was never worn, no fading or anything very great condition.
These two shirts came from Children's Place that I found at the Goodwill. both in 4t and in great condition. Just like being it brand new. I like Children's Place but their prices are becoming outrageous.
This is a yellow and baby blue striped button up shirt from Kennith Cole Reaction in 4t. I was on a role with finding like new shirts for my son at the Goodwill. Very pleased with the items and again I saved a lot of money from if I were to buy these brand new. The first shirt I would have been over $20.. So in tough times it's okay to shop thrift for your children especially when they are younger they grow so fast why pay for for high prices when they will probably ware them for a month.

    JustFab.com haul/review

So I finally got my items from justfab.com owned by Kimora Lee-Simmons the mother of fashion : ) Love her to death but lets talk about what I got and how I felt. Now JustFab.com is a monthly subscription pretty much to get a personal stylist to send you an online boutique of shoes, purses and jewelry. All items are $39.95 and free shipping with easy returns. Sounds amazing right. Well they say there is no monthly membership but.... there really is. From there website explaining their "credits"
"....then you will be charged the JustFab membership fee of $39.95." Now I talked to customer service and they said to me there is no membership fee and I showed them this that is right on there website and they changed the subject... funny but if you do not skip the month or buy at least one item the the 5th of that month they will charge your account the $39.95 and credit it so that you pretty much have to buy something they will not return the money to you... I was not so happy about that because I kept forgetting to skip it was fun until I kept forgetting.. so keep that in mind if you want to sign up for JustFab.

Now you know about it lets get to the haul and review.
Lovely personal boxes great packaging. Shipping was very fast and got to me in a week. It shipped the same day that I ordered so that was very nice of them.
Fantastic : ) even more personal packaging. The draw string bag can definately be used for everyday use or going to the gym for your town and/or water bottle. Loves it.... Now the reveals. So far so good.

Very nicely wrapped the necklace in paper thank you very much. I could also use this box to hold some of my own accessories or makeup. It's a sleek touch. The jewelry.... I'm not too happy about. Love the colors purple and pink I tried something different I do not normally like gold so I tried to see it and I just dont see these colors and gold going together well with me. I tried it and well... I tried it. The quality of the items I was very disappointed with. The feel of the items just do not feel worth $39.95. It's pretty but it just feels like plastic to me I accepted a little bit better quality and the earrings are just so plain jane. I have bought shoes from them before and have always been happy but I do not think I will be going the jewelry way again.

Who got an animal print purse?? Well I did of course and it's purple lol Love the color and love love love the print... Did I say I loved the print and color? Well it's a small bag I would use as a clutch when I go out, I don't have to carry a lot. It does have a strap but I think small purses look funny with a long shoulder strap so I'll probably never use it. But off the bat.... again not happy with the quality. When I first opened it the zipper on the back was already messed up. The zipper foot what have you was in the middle but to the left and right of the zipper was open.... yeah that's not how a zipper works. I sew and design clothes so I know that zipper will not last long.. The inside pocket zipper.... a notch of the zipper is already bent... so again zipper wont last long. That knocked me down just a tad. Will I get another purse from them, maybe not sure yet, is this one worth $39.95 I'm really on the fence with this one. Although the inside is cute too : )

So time for the big bang!! The one item I was personally shopping for to begin with and the only item I expected to leave with.
JUST FABULOUS neon pink platform 6 1/2" high heels!! The love of my life!! yes I love them. Best item always pleased with their shoes!! Need I say more I mean just look at them! The bottoms I will be getting some slick proof pads to prevent from falling they are very slick even on carpet and we do not need that disaster. So they are so worth $39.95. If anything go to Justfab.com and check out their shoes I usually always love them. Although every month I seem to tell them to give me a new selection because they never understand that I do not like peep toes... I mean with a passion... It's like they do not get it. I dont like peep toes but next month watch all my shoes will be peep toes... lol but check them out let me know what you think and if you have shopped there what did you get??
